19 Things To Do In Chicago This Weekend

Hey, Block Clubbers,

Given our newsroom’s name, readers have asked since we launched: So, when are you going to host a block party?

Well, we have big news: We’re hosting our first-ever Block Club Block Party Saturday, Sept. 7 — and you’re invited!

Please save the date to party with us outdoors near The 606! The day will include all of the free fun you’d expect from a block party or street fest — live music, beer, food, local vendors, games and kids activities — plus Block Club-style surprises.

Block parties are one of the great Chicago traditions, and we can’t wait to host one for you. Look out for more details — including the band lineup — soon!

Interested in being a Block Club Block Party vendor or sponsoring the fest? Space is limited. Reach out to Senior Director of Development Maple Walker Lloyd at maple@blockclubchi.org.

Have a great weekend,
